7.4 ⭐️ Texas Rangers Golf

The layout is a blast, conditioning is strong, and the course delivers. Off the course, though, it feels more like a well-funded muni resort than a premium club. Needs more baseball tribute too.

Arlington, TX | Price paid: $140 | Booked via: GolfNow | 22 minutes from Downtown

Texas Rangers Golf Club feels less “country club” and more “well-funded municipal resort course.”

⛳️ The Course

Awesome. Greens rolled great, conditioning was strong, and the layout is genuinely fun from start to finish. This is a course-first experience.

🏌️‍♂️Overall Experience

But for the price, I wanted more. More baseball personality. More from the golf shop. More from the clubhouse. Even the carts feel surprisingly basic for a place charging premium rates.

At $80–90, I’d happily come back. At $140+, DFW has too many other options competing for that spend.

Still, being this close to downtown Dallas absolutely matters, and if your priority is simply playing a really solid golf course, Rangers delivers.

🗣️ Final Word

It’s the kind of place you’d happily bring an out-of-town client or buddy because you know the course will show well. It just stops a little short of feeling special off the course. Course is a 10, experience a 7. But-er-face?
