Tucked away in Richardson, just a short drive from Dallas, it’s not trying to be the flashy steakhouse of public golf. This is more like a trusted taco spot…generous portions, chill crowd, and you walk away feeling like you got more than you paid for.
At roughly $30–$50 per round, Course Two punches above its price point, especially for mid-handicappers who want to play relaxed golf without getting beaten up or feeling like they need to justify the greens fee afterward. no golf now, had to look on the website with a minimum of two players for most slots.
⛳️ The Course
The layout is player-friendly but still thoughtful, with early holes that force some discipline before the course opens up and lets you swing a little freer.
Greens generally roll true and at a reasonable speed, though you may find the occasional patchiness thanks to Texas weather. Bunkers are placed with intention, not malice. Overall, it’s a course that rewards smart golf more than raw power.
Two is noticeably forgiving, i.e., wider fairways, fewer claustrophobic tee shots, and enough room to recover when your driver decides to take the day off.

Do not book a late tee time.
This course can back up badly in the afternoons, especially on weekends. Late rounds can turn into multi-hour waits where you’re standing on the tee box wondering if you should’ve brought a folding chair and a podcast. Morning or early-midday is the move.

Sherrill Park Course Two isn’t trying to be anything it’s not and that’s its strength. It’s good-value golf, approachable, forgiving, and fun without being dull. It’s probably a step above most Dallas city courses in overall quality and experience, even if it won’t blow you away.
